DRAGON BELLY

Restaurant
Hospitality / 390 sq.m.

Located on Pattaya Soi 3, adjacent to the recently renovated Mood Hotel, our Chinese restaurant spans approximately 390 square meters. The design concept combines the lively ambiance of street food restaurants in Yaowarat Road, Bangkok's famous street food hub, with the sophistication of a high-end dining experience.

The decor features neon signs and building structures that reflect the local area but are elevated for a refined look. A color palette of red and green enhances the Chinese theme, complemented by yellow accents inspired by the nearby Mood Hotel. Yellow accents are integrated within the interior to harmonize with the surrounding context. The original double-height space, with a ceiling up to 5 meters, is divided into two main floors.

On the first floor, the dining area is split into two sections. Upon entering, the cashier counter on the left features reddish-brown wood, reminiscent of vintage Chinese wooden cabinets. Past the cashier counter, a central Tea Bar adds a charming Chinese element. One of the most striking features on this level is the Hanging Dragon, which adorns the ceiling. This elaborate dragon installation not only serves as a focal point but also infuses the space with cultural richness and an element of grandeur, capturing the essence of traditional Chinese artistry.

The second floor's right-side dining area mimics a street food restaurant with a refined touch, featuring stainless steel tables covered with graphic-patterned cloths in Chinese designs. The left side is designed for groups of 2-3 people, with a stainless steel bar counter offering a view of the first floor. A VIP room accommodates 5-8 people, decorated in a Chinese Classic style with reddish-brown wood, molding, and glass windows with iron grills inspired by Yaowarat townhouses but in a modern form. This room features a round table.

The exterior is decorated with Chinese-style folding doors painted yellow, inspired by the Mood Hotel, contrasting with green roof tiles to enhance the Chinese aesthetic.
